February in a nutshell.

Well it has been a month of ups and downs.
All of us have a horrible sickness bug with Liv being the worse with it.It was awful we then all got colds.I am hoping now we all don't get anything for a while!.
The girls are great,Liv's speech and understanding is coming on leaps and bounds.Just in the last month she has been saying "taste" "nice" "dog" "sheez" meaning cheese and "sheets" for sweets lol.Olivia has also started with the tantrums and just general naughtyness.She even bit Madison the other day and left quite a substantial bruise,Madison was distraught,all she wanted to so was look out the window with Liv.I am hoping it is just a phase and not an early start of the terrible 2s.
Madison never fails to amaze me with things she comes out with each day.She is such a little girl and hates being called a toddler lol.I took her to gymnastics the other day with the childminder who pays for it as part of the EYFS grant.At first she was very shy and just sat down and wouldn't join in.A while later she had a go of some of the equipment with the teachers and loved it,they even do that little stance at the end of a move which is so cute to see!.Madison has been going swimming and has gained her second certificate which in order to get she had to do a task underwater?.

I started volunteering on the 8th and have now done 3 weeks.At first it was quite nerve racking but I am getting the hang of it now.Everyone is so nice and it confirmed to me that nursing is 100% what I want to do.I know it will be hard but I will get there!

I still am waiting to hear about my hours from work which I think is pretty ridiculous!.I can't see why it is taking so bloody long,i am shattered when I get home a Tuesday night at 8.30pm and have to have me and the kids up and out for 7.30am the following day!.
That is about it really unless I have forgotten something!.

Well.

I had my flexible working hours meeting last Wednesday,it all went fine and I should hear within 4 weeks apparently.Hopefully all has gone to plan this time and I will get my hours.
I also got a nice surprise last week in that I earned some commision and it will be in next months wage woo!.I plan to spend it on booking a spa day and night,a much needed one lol.I can't wait just to relax.

Yesterday was awful,i spent the majority of it being sick which I hate,thankfully this morning I am feeling much better.I don't want to feel like that again in a long time!.
Madison was ill on Friday night but was completely fine Saturday morning.

This Wednesday will be my last quiet Wednesday for a long time as I have my induction the week after!.I really need to get organised for getting out of the house by 7.30am with the girls!.It is going to be so tiring but well worth it.

Not alot else to report really,i will update after the induction.

eek it's December

This time 3 years ago I was 1 day overdue.I had a consultant appointment including a specialist scan to see how my amniotic fluid levels were.I then had a membrane sweep and was already 1-2cms then Madison came into the world early hours of the 4th December.
We are having a little party for Madison tomorrow,she is so excited bless.I cannot believe how fast these 3 years have gone,they really don't stay babies for long.I have so much to do including all the decorating and a major tidy up lol.Paul is at a works doo so I'm left in charge-great!
I will update some photos of tomorrow when I get chance.

On another note I start volunteering in January for our local hospital being a ward assistant.I think this is the only way I'm going to get experience and proove that I really do want to change careers!.
I am so excited,i am doing 9-2 then off to my awful paid job from 4-8.It is going to be tiring but you don't get anywhere without a bit of hard work.
