New year.New Thoughts.New Life.

Well we are in 2012,the year it is all supposed to end or when the calendar for the mayans just ran out lol.
I'm hoping this year is better than 2011,it's certainly our last in this awful house as we are moving out to stay with my nan in April.We could of gone earlier but Paul doesn't get his holidays till then so we can both be off whilst the kids are at the childminders so we can get everything out.I can't wait,we have decided to save for a mortgage instead as it is just better in the long run.
I know it's only the start of the year but I can't believe the girls will be 2 and 4 by the end of it.Madison will be starting school next year and Liv will be 3 and I can go to college yaay.
So the plan for this year is to concentrate on driving lessons as we will be able to afford it now,volunteer for 9-12 months at the hospital,starting this month!.I can't wait to start,I'm hoping it will give me the determination to go for my dream and not put me off as some people have suggested.I'm also hoping the volunteering will lead to another job role as I cannot stand to be here for much longer especially now as they have refused my flexible working hours although some people get their shift changed so easily.
We had a quiet NYE,i fell asleep at 10.30 lol but someone has to get up with the girls and you can bet your dollar on it that it won't be Paul.The girls woke this morning at 5.30 or much earlier as Madison had turned the light on and was running around whilst Liv was happily bouncing away in her cot lol.I define 5.30 as night even the extra 30 minutes so its 6 would be better,i won't get chance for a nap either bleh.I will rectify the spelling errors later.

End of year picture post

Well blog,this will most likely be my last post of 2011 so lets have some lovely pictures to end it on a high as it has been a horrid year.I'm feeling positive that 2012 will be our good year.

updates.

Well my last post was December 1st and it's now the 26th!.
In between we have had Madisons 3rd birthday,horrible drainage problems and Christmas.

Madison had an amazing 3rd birthday and was well and truly spoilt.She loved her little party,being the centre of attention dressed as a princess complete with princess castle cake!.It was so funny when we started singing happy birthday she ran away and went all grumpy lol until she seen her cake and was beaming with smiles,so glad I got it on film.It was an improvement on last years as Madison actually cried when we sang and brought her cake in,she never has been one for singing.

Liv is doing brilliantly,coming on so much especially with her speech,new words this week were "teddy" and "seetie" for sweetie lol,she also understands commands like "go and lie down whilst I change your bum" or "go and get me the wipes/teddy please".

We have had some disgusting going ons with our drains,in the past 3 weeks it has been blocked twice resulting in raw sewage in the yard!.The system is backfalling which means the water is running back towards the house instead of away.I really have come to hate this house,this on top of the black mould and shoddy workmanship.I just cannot wait to move to my nans,we have decided to save for a mortgage instead of getting a council house as were sick of renting!.We are hopefully moving in March.

Christmas was great with Madison having a real understanding this year.She watched her message from father Christmas online then left him some milk and cookies out.For the reindeers,marshmellows and carrots were left out.6am came and Madison was straight downstairs to see if he had been lol,Liv gave the presents a good opening too.We had a 3 bird roast for dinner this year,it wad so nice and better than dry turkey.It was Livs first Christmas dinner and she thoroughly enjoyed it along with chocolate pudding and ice cream for afters.
I will have to upload some pictures when I come online,the girls look so alike!.

eek it's December

This time 3 years ago I was 1 day overdue.I had a consultant appointment including a specialist scan to see how my amniotic fluid levels were.I then had a membrane sweep and was already 1-2cms then Madison came into the world early hours of the 4th December.
We are having a little party for Madison tomorrow,she is so excited bless.I cannot believe how fast these 3 years have gone,they really don't stay babies for long.I have so much to do including all the decorating and a major tidy up lol.Paul is at a works doo so I'm left in charge-great!
I will update some photos of tomorrow when I get chance.

On another note I start volunteering in January for our local hospital being a ward assistant.I think this is the only way I'm going to get experience and proove that I really do want to change careers!.
I am so excited,i am doing 9-2 then off to my awful paid job from 4-8.It is going to be tiring but you don't get anywhere without a bit of hard work.

All about Madison.

Today we had Madisons checkup after her being ill in July for maybe metabolic acidosis,all her test results came back normal which is a relief but then again we still don't have an answer as to why she was so ill and that worries me alot.The Dr said he had never seen anything like it before and how such a young person could recover so quickly when their body was nearly all acid which brought on the fits etc.We don't have to go again which is great and they said to just bring her up if we are at all worried.They all weighed her and measured her length and circumference,all normal.
Thinking about that day makes me realise how lucky we are to have her and how things could have been so different,i think she definately has a few people in heaven looking out for her.She is the most amazing little girl and I couldn't ask for anything more,even when she is having a grumpy day.

Saving.

This year for Christmas I saved with park.I knew that I couldn't just put the money away as I would easily spend it!.With park it was easy and convenient to put the money away each month in exchange for vouchers.I recieved the vouchers at the beginning of October.I got Madisons and Olivia's Christmas presents and some of Madisons birthday presents! I've just put an order in for next year but included £50 of M & S vouchers for food hehe it is the season to be jolly afterall,I only really need to buy for Paul but I have no idea what to get he is hard to buy for.
Apparently the coca cola Christmas advert was on last night although I didn't see it which means we are definately in the festive season now!.Woo.

Tantrums Galore.

Well it's not even near bedtime yet and the girls have both been quite naughty today.Surprisingly Liv being the worst!.
We went to the park to get some leaves to do prints and pictures with.I decided to let Liv have a walk around,she LOVED IT!,loved IT so much in fact that I couldn't get her back into the pram.It must of took me around 10 minutes of screaming and arched backs before I eventually managed to get her back in!.She has tantrums at home which involve her throwing herself on the floor and screaming until we pick her up.Little madam!.But then Olivia will do something cute which just melts my heart,like now she has just stopped nursing to pull her tongue out!Awww!
Madison has been full of the grumps today too,she had a bad dream last night so didn't get a good sleep and when Madison doesn't get a good sleep,boy she gets cranky!.
A plus side of today is that I got some lovely autumnal shots of the girls and Madison did a fab pic which I will update in a later photo post!.
